I tried putting it on but it was to no avail

The next day I went to a phone repair shop to repair my phone

I was told that the charger I used to charge my phone was fake and it has damaged my phone
was beyond repair

I cried for days

It was then I decided that I needed to know the difference between a fake and original charger

Before you buy any charger know this

First, Check if charger writing is on the same side as the plug. If yes then your charger is fake

Secondly, If a "Made in China" is printed on the backside of your charger it is a fake product.

Also, if there is an A+ on the back side of your charger it indicates a fake product

Lastly, If the quality of your plug is low then you know that you have a fake charger. Original

chargers usually comes with high quality and uniform finish
